Our Employment team advises on the full spectrum of employment law, benefits and industrial relations, steering multinationals, Italian companies, public entities and individuals across all market sectors through the employment rules and requirements in Italy. Andrea is an expert in employment law and benefits. He assists clients in relation to industrial relations and individual and collective dismissals and has steered numerous multinationals through restructurings. He has significant experience of advising clients on occupational safety, outsourcing contracts, consultancy contracts and freelance arrangements, executive and upper management exits, stock option plans, MOBs, agents and their specific contractual rights, the transfer of going concerns and disposals and in all employment law-related litigation.

Consultant appointed by the Ministry for Economy in relation to the harmonisation project for the laws of the Czech Republic with European Union laws.

Member of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA). Member of the Italian Employment lawyers Association (AGI).

Francesco is part of the Employment Practice in Milan and assists multinational companies in the industrial, commercial and services sectors in relation to all aspects of human resource management, employment and freelance contractual arrangements, agent contracts and pensions and privacy. He provides specialist employment advice as part of corporate restructurings, M&As, MBO, stock option plans and industrial relations. He has particular experience of representing and defending members of upper management.
He has been registered with the Bar Association of Milan since 2007, a member of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA) since 2005, the International Bar Association (IBA) since 2012 and the Italian Young Employment Lawyers Association (AGI) since 2013.
Francesco assists Italian and international companies in relation to all aspects of personal data processing and protection.

BIOGRAPHY
Andrea graduated in law in July 1995 from the La Sapienza University in Rome (after 3 years studying Economics and Commerce); he was called to the Bar in October 1998 in Rome; he completed a 2 year course at the Notary School of “Anselmo Anselmi” in Rome in 1996/1997 and completed his Notary traineeship in 1997.
In 2005, 2006, 2007 he was a Professor of Employment Law in the undergraduate course at the La Sapienza University in Rome, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. Since 2006 he has taught numerous specialised training courses including in Anthropology, Sociology and Risk Management. Since 2007, Andrea has held a number of conferences and seminars on employment law, privacy and controlling employees, the legal figure of the Compliance Officer, and since 2010 has participated in several workshops. Since 2011 he has been a member of the Rome Bar Association’s Employment Law Project. Since 2013 he has taught a training course for the Italian Red Cross. In 2016 he obtained rights of audience to the Supreme Court.

Mauro graduated in law from Milan’s University Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and started his traineeship specialising in contract and commercial law and civil liability.

After a year, Mauro jointed a boutique Milan firm specialised in employment law, where he gained significant experience over 14 years of advising on contentious and non-contentious employment law matters (employment law, trade union law, pensions and benefits, agent contracts) and data protection law.

In 2015, Mauro joined QUORUM as Of Counsel.

Mauro continues to specialise in employment law and represents and defends companies and upper management. He provides Italian companies and multinationals with advice on all their employment related requirements, including with disciplinary procedures, individual dismissals, personnel reorganisations, transfers of individual and collective agreements, secondments, transfer of businesses, drafting and negotiating employment contracts (employees and freelance workers), and agent contracts, drafting company-level agreements (including negotiating and liaising with trade unions),  drafting and negotiating employment contracts and shareholder agreements for members of upper management (including stock options, call options and retention clauses), negotiating the termination of employment contracts for employees. He also provides due diligence assistance (both acquisition and vendor side). He is known for his expertise in advising domestic and international corporations on all aspects of personal data protection requirements and rules.
