Given the Covid-19 health emergency, the Judge has the right to declare the conciliation after having verified electronically that the conditions set out in the report signed by the parties have been met

Court of Bologna, 10 March 2020. Est. Costanzo

date: 13.05.2020
Area: Litigation and Arbitration

Due to problems related to the Covid-19 health emergency in progress, in order to reduce the number and duration of pending proceedings, the Court of Bologna ruled that the judge has the power to declare the trial terminated by conciliation. In this case, it is up to the judge to verify, in advance, whether the conditions set out in the minutes of the conciliation previously signed by the parties have actually been met, regardless of the need to hold the hearing already scheduled.
